In a gesture of solidarity for families in Dubai looking for things to do with kids during the UAE school spring holidays, visitors can reserve complimentary entry to both Aquaventure World and the Lost World Aquarium at Atlantis, The Palm from from March 10 – 22, 2026.
Aquaventure World – widely known as one of the largest waterparks in the world – will operate as normal throughout the period, offering access to its usual attractions. Families visiting with complimentary tickets will still be able to experience:
Large water slides and rides suitable for older children and teens
Splash areas and family-friendly attractions for younger kids
A one-kilometre private beach along the Arabian Gulf
Marine life experiences inside the Lost World Aquarium
The aquarium provides a calmer option for families who may prefer an indoor activity, with tunnels and exhibits showcasing a wide range of marine species.
According to organisers, the decision to offer complimentary entry was designed as a gesture of community support during a period when many families may be seeking time to relax together.
Sascha Triemer, General Manager and Vice President of Aquaventure World at Atlantis Dubai, said the aim was to provide moments of connection for the community.
“If we can offer even a small moment of relief and a few smiles, then we’ve done something meaningful.”
How families can book complimentary tickets
A limited number of tickets are available each day, and advance reservations are required.
Key booking details for parents planning a visit:
Complimentary tickets are available 10–22 March
Maximum of four tickets per booking
Reservations must be made online in advance for a specific date
Tickets will not be available at the gate
When reserving, guests will be asked to enter contact information and credit card details to secure the booking, although no payment is taken for the complimentary tickets.
Because availability is limited, families hoping to visit during the school holidays may want to check dates early before planning their trip.
Planning a visit with kids
For parents visiting with children, it’s worth keeping a few tips in mind:
Arrive early during school holidays to avoid peak crowds
Bring swimwear, towels and sunscreen
Check height restrictions for certain rides if visiting with younger children
Consider combining the waterpark visit with time at the aquarium for a slower-paced activity
For many families in Dubai, the waterpark and aquarium combination can easily fill a full day out with kids.
