Al Ain Museum is presenting a diverse range of cultural, creative, and interactive activities throughout May, offering visitors of all ages opportunities to engage with heritage and explore new forms of learning through hands-on experiences.
The museum continues to host the temporary exhibition “Harat Al Hosn: A Landscape of Memory” alongside a series of special events marking International Museum Day, reaffirming its role as a space for education, exchange, and the celebration of culture and community.

| Museum Makers | Saturday, 9 May 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM | Children become young museum curators, designing their own miniature gallery they choose an object inspired by the museum’s collection, then arrange it in their small exhibition with descriptive labels. |

| Conservator in Action | Every Friday – May 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | A live activity offering a glimpse into the conservation of museum collections. Specialists work in front of visitors inside the galleries and share insights into how artefacts are cared for and preserved.

| International Museum Day Activities | 16 – 17 May 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | Celebrating International Museum Day, enjoy a two-day programme open to museum visitors that brings together creativity and heritage, including colouring illustrations inspired by the museum’s collection, redesigning a traditional majlis inspired by old wooden doors, and designing a tote bag inspired by Harat Al Hosn. Alongside a creative walk for photographers and artists – registration opening soon.

| Build Your Fort With LEGO | 4 – 5 May 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Using LEGO bricks, visitors discover the history of Sultan Fort, built in 1910, and reconstruct its walls, entrances, and defensive features. |
