Mall of the Emirates will welcome the most magical time of the year with a full calendar of festive experiences designed to delight families, residents and tourists. This winter, step into a one-stop shop destination for all festive events and all your festive needs; whether it’s a chance to enjoy festive plays at New Covent Garden or kids’ entertainment at Ski Dubai’s Winter Wonderland for a meet-and-greet with Santa, the mall will roll out an upbeat, joy-filled program across November and December.

This year’s festive lineup combines immersive storytelling, inclusive family fun, seasonal décor, charitable giving, and convenient shopping services, allowing guests to celebrate, shop, give back, and create memories all in one visit.

• Annual Stollen Charity Cake Sale under the Fashion Dome (23 November): A much-loved community tradition returns, with Mall of the Emirates once again hosting the annual Stollen Charity Cake Sale in collaboration with Kempinski Hotel. A long, beautifully baked festive Stollen will be sold in portions from 10 AM onwards, under the Fashion Dome with proceeds going to charity. It’s a simple, heartwarming way for visitors to start the season on a giving note — and to enjoy a classic Christmas treat while they shop.
• Santa Claus in Winter Wonderland at Ski Dubai (01 – 25 December): The most magical festive tradition returns, inviting families to step into a snowy wonderland filled with Christmas trees, North Pole mail stations, and cheerful encounters with Santa and his elves. For the first time, Magic Planet is also joining in the fun with Santa’s Magical Toy Workshop, featuring frosty activities, colouring stations, and appearances by mascots Zack and Zia.

This year, Ski Dubai introduces Sensory-Friendly Sessions as part of Majid Al Futtaim’s Dare Today, Change Tomorrow sustainability strategy, creating an inclusive experience for people with determination, with softer sounds and trained staff.

• Rapunzel and Her Holiday Wish at New Covent Garden Theatre (5 – 24 December): Step into a world of laughter, music and festive magic as Lythgoe Family Productions, in partnership with New Covent Garden and Live Nation Middle East, brings its hit musical pantomime to the brand-new New Covent Garden Theatre at Mall of the Emirates. After ten smash-hit years in the United States, Rapunzel and Her Holiday Wish reimagines the classic fairy tale with dazzling sets, pop hits from Taylor Swift and Stevie Wonder, and plenty of holiday cheer. This feel-good family show promises laughter, love and a sprinkle of snow.

• The Grotto Experience (6 – 25 December): Invites families on a magical Christmas journey filled with wonder and photo-worthy moments. The adventure includes letter-writing stations for children to craft notes to Santa, a Merry Mailroom and Santa’s Grotto, a cosy cabin where children hand over their letters, take a photo with Santa, and receive a special Christmas gift. They can even meet exciting characters and playful elves Flossy and Sparkle for mini challenges and festive surprises.

To make the magic inclusive, Whispering Winter Sessions offer a calmer environment for children with Special Educational Needs and those on the autistic spectrum, featuring softer sounds and limited capacity for a soothing, joyful experience.
