From 20th to 26th December, Santa Claus will temporarily trade his sleigh for Dubai’s most iconic balloon, offering guests an extraordinary chance to celebrate Christmas in the sky.
For seven magical days, The Dubai Balloon transforms into Santa’s newest stop on his global route. Guests visiting during the festive window will enjoy an exclusive opportunity to fly with Santa, capture a one-of-a-kind photo above the Palm, and experience a celebration that blends Christmas charm with Dubai’s signature sense of spectacle.
Each flight begins with Santa’s warm welcome as he greets guests aboard the balloon, complete with his perfectly fluffed beard, signature laugh, and a candy cane in hand. Once the balloon ascends, Santa will make his way through the cabin, offering Christmas cookies or candy canes, posing for festive selfies, and joining families for professional photographs against breathtaking views of Atlantis, The Palm and the Arabian sea.
In true The Dubai Balloon fashion, the experience comes with thoughtful touches, including a limited-edition and discounted Santa-approved Christmas drinks, crafted exclusively for the festive period.

Santa will be available for on-balloon photos daily from 20th to 26th December, between 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, ensuring every guest has a chance to take home the most memorable Christmas photo of the season.
Tickets for the festive Santa Flight are AED 95 per child, AED 195 per adult and AED 425 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). In addition, children under the age of three can fly for free.
As the flight concludes, Santa will bid guests farewell with a joyful wave and a heartfelt Merry Christmas, adding the perfect finishing touch to this sky-high celebration.
