Sausage making workshops now available at Fin & Bone

Fin & Bone, the butchery and fishery located within Seventh Heaven, Al Barari, is now offering immersive Sausage Making Workshops from Monday to Saturday, with up to two classes per day between 2pm and 5pm.

Each 1.5-hour session is priced at AED 150 per person and is designed for small, intimate groups of up to four participants. Led by Fin & Bone’s Head Butcher, Richard Douglas, the workshop offers a fun way to explore the art of traditional sausage.

Participants will learn everything from selecting quality ingredients and experimenting with flavours to filling casings and crafting sausages by hand. The type of sausages guests make will depend on shop availability, though special requests can be accommodated with advance notice. No prior experience is required – the workshop is approachable, enjoyable, and perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking to try something new.

In addition to the Sausage Making Workshop, Fin & Bone will soon introduce a series of new Master Classes designed to expand guests’ culinary skills. The upcoming workshops will cover a diverse range of cooking techniques, including fish preparation for sushi and filleting, knife sharpening, food preservation methods such as curing and pickling, and nose-to-tail cooking to minimise waste. Dining etiquette for kids’ experience debuts at Novikov Café 

An interactive experience for young diners will take place at Novikov Café, The Dubai Mall on February 27 from 2pm to 3pm. The session is tailored for children aged 6 to 12, combining confidence building and dining in a mature setting overlooking the Dubai Fountain.

The experience is paired with a specially designed three course children’s menu, allowing young guests to practice etiquette while enjoying dishes crafted with the same care and quality found across Novikov Café’s kitchen.
