If you’re searching for a family brunch that feels like a full-blown mini holiday, Lapita’s Polynesian-themed LuWow Brunch has just delivered one of the most exciting new Saturday spots to be.

Taking place every Saturday from 1pm to 5pm (extra points for extended hours), LuWow Brunch invites families to step into an island escape where colourful décor, upbeat music and the spirit of aloha set the tone from the moment you arrive. Hosted across three restaurants – Kalea, Kahuna and The Daily Scoop – the brunch is designed to keep everyone happy, from toddlers to teens (and parents, of course).

Food-wise, this is no ordinary family brunch. At Kalea, highlights include a seafood-on-ice station with fresh lobster and oysters, a sushi corner, and a charcoal grill serving Angus striploin, ribeye and lamb chops. There’s also a comforting roast station and Asian-inspired favourites such as fragrant Thai chicken curry.

Over at Kahuna, families will find crowd-pleasing specialty pizzas – think burrata, pepperoni and parmegiana – alongside fresh salads, bruschetta, mushroom and cheese arancini, and a live gnocchi station finished tableside in a Parmesan wheel with truffle oil and Alfredo sauce.

For little (and big) sweet tooths, dessert is where LuWow shines. The Bake House tempts with beautifully crafted treats such as almond cherry cake, pistachio Paris Brest and coconut and passion fruit verrines. Meanwhile, The Daily Scoop is pure childhood joy – featuring waffles, ice cream creations, a chocolate fountain, a donut wall and an impressive selection of 14 ice cream flavours with endless toppings.

A standout moment for children is the much-anticipated dessert room reveal, where young guests gather for a special unveiling of The Daily Scoop’s candy-themed dessert room.

Entertainment is at the heart of this brunch, with a packed line-up designed to keep energy levels high throughout the afternoon. Expect live Polynesian-style singing and dancing, circus acts, drumming workshops, character appearances including roaming Smurfs, and interactive performances by Magic Phil that encourage everyone to join in. Younger guests are well catered for with face painting, colouring stations, arts and crafts, island games and more –allowing parents to relax knowing the kids are fully engaged.

Adding appeal, brunch guests are welcome to enjoy full access to Lapita’s resort facilities, including swimming pools, a lazy river and splash pad, making it feel like a true daycation. For families wanting to extend the adventure, there’s also the option to add entry to one of Dubai Parks and Resorts’ theme parks: Motiongate, Legoland or Legoland Waterpark, for AED 199 extra per person.

Our verdict? This brunch feels like a holiday – and one that both parents and children will be counting down to all week long.

Packages are priced at AED 300 per person with soft beverages, AED 400 with house beverages, AED 500 for the sparkling package. Children aged three and under dine for free, while children aged 4 to 11 are priced at AED 150.
