This Loy Krathong, The Thai Kitchen invites guests to embrace the magic of Thailand’s Festival of Lights with a special menu thoughtfully curated by Chef Bon Cheang along with Chef Sydney Stranger, Director of Culinary at Dubai Creek Resort, available for a limited time only from November 5 – 6, 2025.
Steeped in centuries of tradition, Loy Krathong is a cherished Thai festival where beautifully decorated krathongs or baskets are released into the water symbolising letting go of one’s troubles, negative thoughts and misfortune while ushering in peace, prosperity and new beginnings. Honouring this timeless ritual, The Thai Kitchen warmly calls upon guests to gather with loved ones for an enchanting evening of floating lanterns, authentic flavours and mesmerising Thai dances under the gentle glow of the full moon.
As the night unfolds, guests can experience the ceremonial release of floating lanterns representing gratitude, light, and good fortune and take a moment to reflect and celebrate.
Following the ceremony, guests can continue the magical evening at The Thai Kitchen with mouthwatering delicacies starting with vibrant salads such as Pla-Kra-Pong Lui Saun and Goong Yang Lae Yum Som O, followed by flavourful mains such as Gai Yang Kub Som Thum, Mit Talay Yang, Poo Kai Dow Fu, and Choo Chee Goong Lai. For a sweet finish, guests can indulge in Kao Neaw Nha-Kha-Cheek or Yok-Ma-Ne.
