Al Quoz’s much-loved spot CASSETTE marks its seventh anniversary on 2 February 2026 by stepping into a new culinary chapter. With an exciting rebrand and an elevated menu rooted deeply in its Parisian identity, this new phase introduces a contemporary and vibrant touch, balancing the space’s Parisian spirit with Dubai’s creative rhythm.
Based in The Courtyard, Al Quoz, CASSETTE has always existed somewhere between a café and a cultural space, offering guests a place they return to time and time again. Over the past seven years, it has evolved into a comforting setting where food, music, art, and design come together seamlessly. The rebrand signals a return to CASSETTE’s cultural core, centring on authenticity, craft, and experiences that feel considered rather than constructed. The visual identity reflects what has been part of CASSETTE from the beginning: a rebellious, creative spirit, now expressed with greater clarity, confidence, and intent. Rooted in culture rather than trend, the evolution extends beyond the logo across all touchpoints, from F&B collaterals and uniforms to in-venue signage and CASSETTE’s renewed digital presence, creating a cohesive and intentional brand experience.
To mark the special occasion, on 2 February CASSETTE unveils a new menu that leans into French comfort and restraint, inspired by the idea that simplicity, when done properly, is the ultimate luxury. Drawing from classic Parisian bistro sensibilities, each dish features quality ingredients and familiar flavours.
Mornings begin with the CASSETTE Potato Rösti, a crisp Swiss-style potato pancake layered with crème fraîche and cream cheese, chives, a soft-boiled egg, smoked salmon, and fresh herbs, alongside the Pain Perdu du Matin, golden brioche French toast gently caramelised and served with maple syrup, fresh strawberries, and smooth vanilla crème. Snacks include the Comté & Onion Croquettes, golden and indulgent, pairing nutty Comté with caramelised onion, served alongside truffle mayo and smooth onion purée.
Starters stay rooted in Parisian tradition, from the silky Chicken Liver Mousse served with brioche and apple compote, to Carrot Râpée à la Parisienne, a classic grated carrot salad dressed with zesty lemon mustard and finished with toasted sesame seeds, and the Steak & Parmesan Tartare, prepared with finely chopped MB3 tenderloin, gherkin, shallot, capers, parsley, and Parmesan, accompanied by organic sourdough toast.
For mains, the menu centres around comfort and nostalgia. The Roast Baby Chicken “Grand-Mère”, prepared in the classic ‘grandmother’s way’, is served with creamy mushroom purée, caramelised shallots, king oyster mushrooms, green herb oil, and a rich chicken jus. The French Dip Sandwich reimagines a Parisian classic, featuring tender beef topside prepared both pulled and roasted, layered with melted Gruyère, caramelised onions, and horseradish mayo on a toasted baguette, served with rich house beef jus for dipping. Desserts close on a timeless note with Profiteroles, delicate choux pastry filled with whipped vanilla cream and dipped in dark chocolate.
CASSETTE is not chasing trends or reinventing itself for effect. Instead, it is refining what it has always been about: culture over hype, craft over noise, and moments worth remembering.
Seven years on, CASSETTE continues to offer a go-to place to slow down and connect with culture in a city that moves fast. Parisian in soul, shaped by Dubai’s creative energy, and grounded in intention, this new era is very much for the record.
