Balancing a busy family life with a dedication to golf isn’t always easy. Between school runs, work, and parenting duties, finding time to truly immerse yourself in the sport you love can feel like a luxury. But what if you could step onto the tee box of a world class course, feel the ocean breeze, and compete in a high calibre international tournament alongside like minded golfers?
From September 14th to 20th, 2026, the Kenya Golf Coast Classic is bringing together passionate golfers from around the globe for a spectacular 7-day social tournament.
Whether you are a golfing mom looking to test your skills in the ladies’ division, a dad eager to take on a legendary course, or a golfing couple ready to compete side-by-side, this tournament is the ultimate opportunity to elevate your game.

The 7-day tournament playbook
The Kenya Golf Coast Classic is a beautifully structured, three-round Individual Stableford competition with dedicated handicap-based divisions. Your tournament week is mapped out for maximum performance and premium camaraderie:
September 14: Arrival & Welcome Land at Mombasa International Airport and transfer to the luxury Diamonds Leisure Beach & Golf Resort. The week kicks off with an evening Welcome Cocktail and Orientation Dinner to meet your fellow competitors and review the tournament rules.
September 15: Round 1 – Diamonds Leisure Beach Course The tournament officially begins! Tee off for the opening 18-hole round on a stunning championship course designed by Tommy Fjastad. With complimentary on-course refreshments keeping you sharp, you’ll fight for an early lead before a post-round dinner right on the Diani beachfront.

September 16: Mid-Week Strategy & Rest Day A free day to rest your shoulders, talk strategy, or recharge. Take advantage of world-class water sports along Diani Beach, or opt for an adrenaline rush like skydiving over the coastline before the leaderboard heats up.
September 17: Round 2 – Historic Nyali Golf & Country Club Early morning transfers take you north to compete at the historic Nyali Golf & Country Club. Established in 1958, this “Classic Heritage” course features a layout that rewards precision. After a leaderboard refresh over lunch, you’ll transfer to your next base—the luxurious Sarova White Sands, for a sunset Chipping Competition to warm up your short game.
September 18: Final Preparation & Sunset Cruise Explore the immaculate beach of Sarova White Sands or opt for excursions to explore the area. In the evening, unwind with a traditional Kilifi Sunset Cruise, sharing stories with your fellow golfers before the final showdown.

September 19: Day 3 – The Grand Finale at the PGA Baobab Course The decisive final round takes place on the challenging, world-renowned Vipingo Ridge PGA Baobab Course (the only PGA-accredited course on the African continent). Designed by David Jones, this bucket-list course demands your absolute best drive. The tournament concludes with score verification and an elite prize-giving ceremony where the ultimate champions are crowned with prestigious tournament jackets.
September 20: Departure & Bragging Rights Enjoy breakfast at the clubhouse, check out, and head to the airport for your flight home with incredible memories and a refreshed competitive drive.
Play Africa’s only PGA-accredited course

For any serious golfer, the venue is everything. Entering this tournament gives you exclusive playing access to some of the most beautiful and challenging terrain in the world, including the iconic Vipingo Ridge Baobab Course (the only PGA-accredited course on the African continent).
Imagine navigating pristine fairways lined with ancient baobabs while taking on one of Africa’s most challenging golf courses. It is a bucket-list course that will test your distance, your accuracy, and your short game, providing the ultimate bragging rights at the 19th hole.
Gather Your Golfing Crew: Want to represent your home club on an international stage? The tournament makes it simple to create a “Hosted Group.” Gather your regular weekend playing partners, golf society friends, or fellow school-run golf parents, and enter as a team.
Turnkey logistics for busy parents
As parents, your free time is precious. The brilliant part of entering the Kenya Golf Coast Classic is that the organisers handle 100% of the logistics. From the moment you land, every detail is seamlessly managed:
- Guaranteed tournament tee times and green fees.
- All transfers between premium coastal accommodations and the courses.
- Curated tournament dinners and evening functions to network and celebrate with fellow competitors.

You don’t have to micro-manage a single detail. Your only job is to focus on your swing, manage your scorecard, and enjoy the incredible camaraderie of the game.
Spaces on the field are strictly limited to maintain a premium tournament experience. If you’re ready to dust off your clubs and experience the thrill of international competition, it’s time to lock in your entry.
