Championing community engagement, Black Bunny, Dubai’s newest family-friendly entertainment destination, opened its doors for a very special event on October 4th, welcoming 30 children from Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs Centre for a morning of sensory play and creativity. From 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, the children enjoyed a safe, joyful, and supportive environment, designed to nurture imagination while highlighting the importance of inclusivity and empathy.
Originally launched in Surat, India, and newly opened in Al Quoz, Dubai, Black Bunny is an experiential entertainment hub where play knows no age limit. A gaming space with a difference, the brand strives to bring communities together through shared experiences. Boasting plenty of retro arcade games and immersive attractions, the destination ensures that every visit feels like a celebration of fun, connection, and discovery.
As part of its community outreach, Black Bunny joined hands with Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs, a non-profit organisation based in Dubai, providing holistic support for children and young adults of determination. The centre offers a range of services, such as education, therapy, and rehabilitation, making it a vital community lifeline, dedicated to creating safe spaces where every child can thrive with dignity and joy.
The collaboration between Black Bunny and Senses came to life through a carefully curated sensory experience, tailored specifically for children on the autism spectrum. The children engaged in creative, tactile, and playful activities designed to stimulate imagination while ensuring comfort and inclusion. Held within Black Bunny’s vibrant space in Al Quoz, the morning was filled with laughter, artistic expression, and shared moments of joy.
What made the day so significant was the ethos behind it, moving beyond entertainment and into the realm of community connection. In line with the UAE’s Year of Community and the government’s commitment to autism-friendly initiatives, the event highlighted how spaces like Black Bunny can be transformed into platforms for empathy and inclusivity. By partnering with Senses, the initiative showcased that hospitality and entertainment are at their most powerful when rooted in compassion and shared purpose.
“Black Bunny is designed to be a place where families and communities come together. We were honoured to welcome the children from Senses Centre and to create an environment where they could explore, express, and simply enjoy being themselves. Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do, and this event reflects our belief that fun should be for everyone,” said the founder of Black Bunny, Jeet Bhati and Utsav Arora.
“At Senses, we believe that children flourish when they are given safe, engaging, and supportive spaces to grow. This collaboration with Black Bunny is a wonderful example of how community partners can help create lasting memories for children on the spectrum. It reminds us that inclusion is not just about access, but about genuine experiences that make every child feel seen and valued,” said Farhan Shahid, Director – Corporate Partnerships Senses Centre.
As the UAE continues to champion inclusivity and community spirit, the collaboration between Black Bunny and Senses is a shining example of what can be achieved when entertainment meets empathy. It also showed that the most meaningful memories are those shared in kindness, creativity, and togetherness.
